Psychological Effect of Projects Left Unfinished

There is a nice article on CIO about effects of projects that don't get finished:

Project Management: When Good IT Projects Go Bad: "Problem projects--killed, euthanized or launched with disappointing results--can leave techies with unresolved feelings that linger for years."

Article is about 6 printed pages long, and it outlines communication as one of key factors in reducing bad effects. In my experience, communication is one of the key tools inside ICT (e.g. Scrum in development projects) department, but also in ICT's cooperation with the rest of the company.

I think it is worth the read and might help you achieve best scenario by Vince Lombardi: "….I firmly believe that any man’s finest hours – his greatest fulfillment of all that he holds dear – is that moment when he has worked his heart out in good cause and lies exhausted on the field of battle – victorious".
